Yesterday was our first visit to the Three Sisters Race Circuit for the Adgespeed Stages. Three Sisters is a much smaller circuit to the ones we usually compete at in the Motorsport News Circuit Rally Championship but it was a really well organised event with 12 tight technical stages.

The event was a final shakedown for us before we start the next season of the MSN Championship in November so we took the opportunity to try some different settings on the car and used some of our new Michelin tyres.

The stages were run in pairs and the times Jamie and I set were very similar across each pair of stages which I was really pleased with as it demonstrates that we are becoming much more consistent.

It was a very close event due to the low mileage and tight technical stages and losing or gaining a couple of seconds could make a big difference to our position. We were sitting around 20th for most of the day and ended up finishing 4th in Class C and 19th overall which we were really pleased with for our first time at the venue, and it was also a big improvement on our seeding of 31st.

Our next event is the Neil Howard Stages, the first round of Season 4 of the Motorsport News Circuit Rally Championship, at Oulton Park on Saturday 3rd November. Further information on the Neil Howard Stages is available here: http://nhstages.co.uk/
