Ashleigh Morris

Our 2018 season has come to an end and it's been a mixed bag for us full of highs and lows. 12 rallies, 4 different co-drivers, 3 non-finishes (2 at our home venue Knockhill!) and 1 class win.

Highlights include my first class win at Anglesey in March with Phil Kenny, finishing second in class with my brother James at the Enville Stages which was his first rally, finishing 2nd in class in the 2017/18 Motorsport News Rally Championship with Jamie winning the Class B co-drivers' championship, winning 3 awards in the ANWCC Championships, and joining the British Women Racing Drivers' Club. Unfortunately we had our share of lows as well, from getting stuck at Knockhill after going off, to our clutch failure at Oulton Park and our roll in our last event of the year - Knockhill strikes again!

Thanks to all who have supported me this year: to Jamie for doing a great job on the notes and always staying calm, even after our crash; Colin at TnS for looking after the car (think he's got his work cut out this time!); to my parents for their support; James for doing a great job on the website; John Goff for his continued support; and to all my friends and family who trail over the country to stand in the cold and watch!

Thanks also to RSC Controls and Knockhill Racing Circuit for their support; SMJ Photography for the brilliant pics; all the media who have supported us this year and to Darren and his team for putting on a brilliant championship.

I can't wait to get back out in the car and see what 2019 brings.
