This weekend we returned to Cadwell Park for the second round of the 2019/20 Motorsport News Circuit Rally Championship. Conditions were challenging all day, and despite the dry forecast it ended up raining for most of the day so we went with a wet set up and full wet tyres.

Unfortunately stages two and four were cancelled - two due to a car blocking the stage and leaking oil on the track, and four due to a bad accident. Fortunately the crew are both ok. For the morning we were running the track in the 'wrong' direction and were going well, setting the second quickest class time on stage one, then the quickest on stage three.

In the afternoon the stage changed round and we were running the circuit clockwise, as it's designed to be run for racing. It's a fast circuit and undortunately going in this direction we lost a little time and ended up slipping down to third in class.

We're delighted with where we finished as it was a very competitive class with 18 entries. We were also thrilled to finish 20th overall - the highest we've ever finished in one of the MSN Rally Championship rallies.

We're sitting joint second in class in the championship now and tenth overall so it's been a great start to the season and we're looking forward to our home round at Knockhill in a few weeks time.
