Wow, what a weekend! Yesterday was the first round of the 2022 Scottish Rally Championship, the Snowman Rally near Inverness. After 4 months out of the car it was amazing to get back out on the stages.

Last night was the awards dinner for the 2021 Scottish Rally Championship at the Hilton Hotel in Glasgow. It was fantastic to celebrate last season's achievements with my team and sponsors before the new season kicks off. We haven't been able to have awards' presentations for a couple of years due to covid so it was great to be able to socialise and celebrate together.

Saturday was the final round of the 2021 Scottish Rally Championship, the Carlisle Stages at Kielder Forest. I'd always wanted to drive the iconic stages of Kielder so I was really excited to get going although I'd been warned about the ditches!

On Saturday we headed north of the border for the penultimate round of the Scottish Rally Championship, the Galloway Hills Rally near Newton Stewart, with Martin Haggett joining in the co-driver's seat again.
